Information about the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon and Half Marathon

The second Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon and Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 12th May, starting and finishing at AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium.

The day will be another fantastic occasion for the city of Leeds and the wider West Yorkshire region as we come together to raise an incredible amount of money for good causes inspired by our hero Rob Burrow CBE.

Here is some information in brief for this event tracker.

Spectator tickets:

Spectator stadium tickets have gone on sale for those wanting to watch the action unfold at this year’s Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon.

Whether you’re cheering on family or friends, expect an electrifying atmosphere and party from start to finish as thousands of participants of all abilities and ages cross the finish line. Please note that this ticket is the only way to gain access to the stadium and finish line. Spectators will be allowed into the stadium from 10:30am but each spectator MUST have a ticket to enter. The tickets are

£5 plus booking fee per person. Run for All will sell an allocation of tickets at the Race Office at Gate G on Sunday 12 May. Card only.

Saturday the 11thth May – 12:00pm – 4:00pm (Leeds Rhinos Box Office – Match Day Collections at St Michaels Lane)
sunday 12th May – from 7am (Gate Kirkstall Lane)

We look forward to welcoming you to AMT Headingley Stadium, home of Leeds Rhinos! Here is some important information to help you plan your day:

– Spectators with tickets will be able to enter the stadium only from 10:30 on Sunday the 12thth May. You will not be able to enter the stadium at the same time as the runners you are supporting.

– You will need one ticket per person. Babies in arms do not need a ticket.

– Please enter through Gate G on Kirkstall Lane (LS6 3DP) and go to the allocated stand shown on your ticket. Please note that seats in the AMT East Stand and North Stand are not reserved. The AMT East Stand Terrace is standing room only.

– Please either print the ticket or have it available on your mobile device for scanning at the entrance turnstiles. Duplicate tickets will not be accepted.

– Catering establishments and bars will be open throughout the site. The site is a cashless place.

– There will be a baggage screening policy in place upon ground entry and you may be subject to a baggage search. Bags larger than A4 size will not be allowed.

– The stadium does not allow alcohol, cans or glass bottles to be brought into the venue. There are plenty of water fountains, so please bring your own empty bottles to fill up.

– No dogs will be allowed at AMT Headingley Stadium, with the exception of assistance dogs.

– There will be no readmission upon exiting the stadium, tickets cannot be reused.

– Please ensure that children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

– Please note that all stands are covered.

– Only small shadows will be allowed in the stadium.

– There will be parking restrictions around the stadium and there will be no alighting outside the entrance. Drop-off areas are via Beechwood Drive onto St Michaels Lane (south) and via Grove Lane onto Shaw Lane.

– We recommend that you do not bring pushchairs to AMT Headingley Stadium as you will not be able to take them into the stands.

There will be parking spaces for bicycles at AMT Headingley Stadium, but they will be left at your own risk.

Meeting the participants after they have finished the marathon/half marathon.

Competitors will finish the race on the hallowed turf of the Leeds Rhinos ground. No spectators will be allowed onto the pitch, so we advise you to meet up with friends and family who have completed the event in The village of events. Stewards and volunteers will be on hand to guide you around the venue.
