Girlfriend dumps Flash line drug dealer who has “wasted” her life

A ‘street dealer’ for a major Birmingham drug gang has lost his girlfriend after being told he was ‘wasting’ his life. Himesh Suri played a key role in the Flash ring which supplied cocaine and heroin to Aberdeen in Scotland.

The 28-year-old acted under director Rikardo Reid, a well-known rapper called Stardom, who has ties to the Johnson Crew, as well as “second-in-command” Joshua Nelson. He admitted two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and one count of money laundering.

On Wednesday, May 8, Suri, of no fixed address, was sentenced to nine months, consecutive to a longer prison term he is currently serving for drug trafficking. Harinderpal Dhami, defending, told Birmingham Crown Court that his client had to “fend for himself” when he was young after his mother’s death, while his father struggled with a drug addiction.

He said: “The cost of the funeral was left to him. He got involved with those he associated with and was given the opportunity”.

Dhami told the court that Suri was in debt after previously being jailed for drug offenses and had returned to business because there was “no light at the end of the tunnel”. He said: “He accepts now, with hindsight, that he made errors in judgment and decisions which meant he spent the better part of 20 years behind bars.

“He is not an unintelligent man. He wants to express remorse, not for himself, he accepts that he is the author of his own misfortune. He accepts the consequences of dealing Class A drugs. He understands that his immature need does not justify his decision-making.”
