Liverpool FC fans ‘delighted’ as Kostas Tsimikas appears in ‘our garden’

Liverpool FC fans were “delighted” when Kostas Tsimikas arrived in “our garden” on Wednesday.

The city experienced warmer weather and Tsimikas turned up at Liverpool contemporary art center Bluecoat to soak up the sun. Now 27, he has become only the second Greek player to sign for Liverpool in 2020, following Sotirios Kyrgiakos.

The left-back developed his reputation in his native country, winning three major honors with Olympiacos during his five-year stay. Two of his five seasons with the club were on loan at Esbjerg in Denmark and Willem II in the Netherlands before he became the ‘Greek Scouser’ and scored the winning penalty in the club’s FA Cup final win over Chelsea in May 2022.

In a new post on Bluecoat’s Instagram page, a member of the squad appears to have snapped a photo of the Reds defender. The update was captioned: “We were so excited to have @tsimikas21 pay us a surprise visit today!

“He certainly picked the perfect day to enjoy the sun and relax in our garden.”

The Bluecoat regularly hosts exciting events and exhibitions and offers a variety of products from Liverpool’s independent shops and has a cafe serving food and drink.
