A man has suffered a head injury after a brutal attack in Wolverhampton

A man suffered a nasty attack in Wolverhampton, prompting police to issue a CCTV appeal. A man in his 30s was attacked on King Street in the heart of the city center at around 9.15pm on Saturday 23 March.

The victim suffered a head injury as a result of the incident and had to be treated in hospital. Detectives investigating the incident have now released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the attack.




He is white with short hair on top and none on the sides of his head. He appears to have facial hearing and wears a hooded jacket.

Launching the appeal, a West Midlands Police spokesman said: “| Do you know this man? We are continuing to investigate an assault on King Street in Wolverhampton on Saturday 23rd March and want to speak to him.

“A man in his 30s is recovering in hospital after treatment for a head injury he suffered in the incident at around 9.15pm.”
