Injured players have plenty of time to recover for the game Hearts – Aduana Stars Head Coach – Citi Sports Online

Head coach of Aduana Stars Football Club, Yaw Acheampong, says his team has enough time to deal with injuries to key players before they face Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club.

Aduana take on Hearts in the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season on Friday, May 17 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Acheampong’s men head into the game after a goalless draw with Accra Lions at the Accra Stadium on Monday, May 4. The draw means that Aduana have not won in their last three league matches.

Prior to the Lions match, Aduana had lost 2-1 to Karela United and 1-0 to Bibiani Gold Stars; in the reverse fixture, Aduana defeated Lions 1–0 on 14 April.

“It was a very difficult match, but tactically I’m very happy with today’s performance. Sometimes you play with what you got…as you can see today, it’s not about position, it’s about playing a role. Our next game is against Hearts here and I’m happy with the game today… we’ll have a lot of time to work on the injured players and see if they can come and join us against Hearts.”
